“New Girl” Spoilers from E! Online
Veronica: Please tell me Nick and Jess will get together in New Girl‘s second season!
Nothing would make us happier than to report that the adorable duo are going to be getting together when the Fox hit returns. Alas, that would make us liars as we hear that there are no plans for Nick and Jess to get together any time soon. The good news? The cast and crew know it’s going to have to happen eventually. Translation: enjoy the burn, the slow burn.

Hannah Simone: ‘Cece and Schmidt Aren’t in Love’
Hannah Simone plays Cece, the hot model on New Girl who began sleeping with her best friend’s roommate, Schmidt. Hannah and Schmidt make a great pair, they’re both cocky and interested in the same things, but they’re both struggling with where their fiery relationship is going.
Months after meeting Hannah for the first time, she hasn’t changed a bit. She remains as friendly and talkative as she’s always been, so I didn’t hesitate to ask Hannah about Cece’s man and what’s in store for tonight’s hilarious season finale!
POTP: I met you at TCA.
Hannah: Oh yes, cool! You love my bangs.
POTP: Yes.
Hannah: I remember! I remember.
POTP: I’m glad to see that you’re with Schmidt! Do you think your relationship softens your character and makes her more vulnerable?
Hannah: Of course. Ya, I think that’s just real life. We’re this strong version of ourselves and the one thing that makes you vulnerable, because when you lose control, is when you develop feelings for somebody. I think that’s cracked Cece wide open.

Zooey Deschanel to Play Loretta Lynn on Broadway
After serving as the subject for an Oscar-winning film in 1980, the life story of country music star Loretta Lynnis now in development as a Broadway musical, with Zooey Deschanel on board to play the Coal Miner’s Daughter.
Lynn repeated history with her announcement of the project and the casting of the lead role, bringing Deschanel onto the stage of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Thursday night following an Opry Country Classics performance. The pair sang a duet of the title song from the planned musical.
In 1979, Lynn used a similar platform at the Grand Ole Opry to announce the casting of Sissy Spacek in the movie directed byMichael Apted, which would win her an Academy Award for best actress.
“It’s a long way from Butcher Holler to Broadway in New York City,” said Lynn. “I never imagined I’d see Coal Miner’s Daughter on a movie screen, and now I can’t believe it’s going to be on a stage for people to see. I’m going to be right there in the front row. And I know Zooey is going to be great – she sings and writes her own songs just like I do, and we even have the same color eyes!”
